Classicist style castle in Farád for sale

Felsőbüki Nagy Sándor had the small - size castle built in 1750. The family coat of arms can still be seen on the top of the portico. Later, the building became the property of the Sarlay family. During the socialist period, it served different functions from surgery to headquarters of agricultural cooperative. Due to the many transformatons over the years, the castle lost most of its classicist features.

The building is in perfect static condition, but it needs complete refurbishing. At present, there are 16 rooms on the 500 m². The total area size of the land is  4423 m².

Sewer, water, gas and electricity are  on the estate, but only electricity has metre.

Some parts of the building have basement underneath.There is also a 100 m², three storey-granary on the land.

The owner of the castle had complete reconstruction plans made, the price of which is part of the sales price. Preliminary restoraton work was started, but eventually stopped.

The castle is not listed, and it is considered inland territory, therefore, it can be altered freely, and  purchased by foreign citizens, as well.
